myself shradha n i hav done my gradution in commerce. sir m very keenly interested in ias officer. i want ur favour dat which books or which auther's books i should prefer for being preparation. i cant join coachings bcoz of such circumustances. please make me guide.

There are so many books available in the market for Civil Service Exam preparation.

You have to study two sections i.e

i.General section and
ii.Optional subject section

For General subject preparation, you can follow these books:

Oxford Atlas India ,

Best current affairs magazines including leading newspapers.

NCERT books on General Geography of India,

Physical Geography ,by Leong

Introduction to Indian Constitution - D.D. Basu,

Indian Economy - Dutt and Sundharam.

Freedom Struggle (NBT) - Bipan Chandra

Our Parliament - S.C. Kashyap

Science and Technology Published by the Spectrum.

And for the optional subjects also you can find good books in the market. You have to choose of your own particular subject book in this case.
