Dear Friend
IMA stands for the Indian Military academy .If you are interested in joining this academy you will have to appear for the Combined defense services entrance exam conducted twice every year by the UPSC. CDS is conducted for selection of candidates for the following academies: 1.Indian Military academy 2.Indian Air force academy 3.Officer's Training academy 4.Indian Naval academy. As you are interested in joining IMA ,here I am discussing the details regarding to IMA only : >>If you have done bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university or you are in final year of bachelor's degree then you can give this exam. >>The age limit for the IMA is 19-24 years for both unmarried male as well as female. >>You must be an Indian citizen. Coming to your query ,by medical standard I think you mean to say what is the physical requirements to join IMA ,it is as below: Height and weight criteria for the men and women.
