The Physical Fitness Required in IAF(Indian Air-Force) is as Follows:-

Details for Men:-

Height - Minimum Height should be 162.5 cms.

Leg Length :-

Minimum - 99 cms.
Maximum - 120 cms.

Thigh Length :- Maximum 64 cms.

Sitting Height :-

Minimum - 81.5 cms.
Maximum - 96 cms.

Vision :-

Minimum Visual Acuity 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other ,correctable to 6/6 only for Hypermetropia.


Details for Women:-


Height - Minimum Height should be 152 cms.


Leg Length :-

Minimum - 85 cms.
Maximum - 110 cms.

Thigh Length :- Maximum 60 cms.



Sitting Height :-

Minimum - 78 cms.
Maximum - 85 cms.


Vision :-

Minimum Visual Acuity 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other ,correctable to 6/6 only for Hypermetropia.

You can join iaf thorugh nda exam after 12th.
After graduation,
You can join cds exam.

For Joining Indian Air Force the minimum height requirement is 162.5 cms. And this Anthropometric Measurements is for both Male and Femle candidate.
