minimum marks to qualify in nda examination 2011

As per the instructions a pass class is sufficient to apply for this stream. You need to have cleared the 12th standard or equivalent for the same. You can apply even when you are in the final year. You need to prepare for the entrance exam. You will need to prepare in both the general ability and mathematics section.

There is no marks defined in there instruction .According to there instruction you have to be 12th pass student . The questions are based on general ability and mathematics section. So prepare for those sections.

After that, written test and physical test with interviews will be happen and if you

cleared all this then you will definitely join the NDA.

The NDA cut off ranges year after year

Its better to score above 300 to make sure of the entry to SSB

It is because as the general trend, the cut off range between 200 and 300 in the recent years

Information on NDA !!

NDA - National Defense Academy

Its an All India Entrance Examination which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) in India to recruit or intake candidates for the various wings of the Indian Defense like the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force.


But before anybody can get into these, they have to pass through the recruitment procedure.

So first of all one has to satisfy the following Eligibility Criteria's to be eligible to sit for the NDA exam :-


1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board like NOS, CBSE, ICSE, etc.

2. As such no minimum marks criteria is mentioned in any notification, but you should be clear pass in all the subjects

3. Candidates interested to apply in the Air Force or Navy must have studied Physics and Maths in 12th as compulsory subjects.

4. You should be a minimum 16.5 to 19 years and an unmarried male Indian citizen.

5. Physical fitness is also of utmost importance..


Once you satisfy these, then you can apply for the NDA exam. This exam is conducted twice in a year : April and August.


In April it is conducted for those students who have just appeared in their board exams, and in August for those who have got their board results also.


Now for this year, the registrations are already over, and the exam is on 15th April 2012 which is a Sunday.

If you wish to apply for the next NDA exam, then watch out for the Notification which would be published in Employment News.

First of all there is no provision for requirement of any percentage of marks to qualify NDA exam.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The interested candidate must be an Indian unmarried male within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age having either appear for 12th final exam or pass from a recognised Central/State Board with good physical fitness, is eligible to apply for NDA.

The candidate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th is eligible to apply for all wings of NDA and without the aforesaid subjects can only be eligible for Indian Army of NDA.

For appearing in NDA exam u must be 12th passed

there are 3 papers:-
English
General Knowledge
Mathematics
each of 100 marks

min. cut-off is 60%
but sometimes the cut-off can vary

so, try to give your best

I can mention here i think to come in merit it has to be over 65% . Anyone over that is comfortably inside the cut off marks.you should make your own notes for the exam.
