Re: What is the minimum qualification for Bank Manager?
There is no specific qualification to become a Bank Manager. No one can directly be appointed as a Bank Manager. To become an bank Manager one has to be promoted from a Bank P.O.(Probationary Officer) or even from clerical cadre one can be elevated to the position of Bank Manager.
Anyway the aspiring candidate for Bank Manager should have cracked the Bank P.O. exam conducted by different private banks of their own. Generally Bank P.O. exams are conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public Sector Bank. Eligibility for Bank P.O.Exam:- -The candidate must be an Indian National -Should have completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University -Should be within the age of 20 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate -Should be a computer literate one The selection is through written exam of objective type questions followed by personal interview.
