Pass in 10th is the basic qualification for diploma courses. 12th passed candidates can also apply. Duration of the course vary between 2-3 years. Entrance exams like DET are conducted for selection process. Qualifying exam marks are also considered in certain cases.

My son is failed in 11th for maths & physics but he have got 90 % marks in 10th exam His school management is not allowing for compartment exam and e dont want to send him again for 11th class. He willing to do Marine engineering diploma and then BE in marine engineering. He has got admission in one of the college in Thenkasi and we also interested to send him there. Please advise ?

MY 10TH PER 48% ONLY SO CAN I GET THE ADMISSION IN diploma in mechanical engineering

To do diploma course in mechanical engineering you have to pass only matriculation .
For this you have to face entrance exams to get admission in any polytechnic college . In this exam questions are asked from the subjects - math , physics, and chemistry..
