Minimum Requirement for IAS:

=> To become IAS Officer, first you have to hold 3 year bachelor degree course from a recognised university, final year appearing graduate candidates are also Eligible to become IAS Officer.

=> There is no Minimum percentage is required to apply for Civil services examination to become IAS.

=> Passed in graduation is enough to become IAS Officer.

=> Your age should between 21 to 30 years and upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

If you are fulfill the above mentioned eligibility then you are eligible to become IAS Officer, and apply for the UPSC Civil services examination.

Once you cracked the UPSC Civil services preliminary examination, then you are eligible for Mains.

And those who cracked Main are eligible for SSB Interview for Final selection.

The Notification is going to be Published soon next year in the month of February, Eligible and Interested candidates may fill the application form online from the official website.

The preliminary examination is objective and there are two papers in this examination and you have to cracked both papers Individually.

There is no specific exam as IAS Exam. To become an IAS(Indian Administrative Service) officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligible candidate aspiring for IAS, must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

Eligibility criteria:-

-->You should be complete graduation or an bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

The candidate must be a citizen of india.

Final year persuing candidates can also be eligible for this exam.

There is no required percentage to appear this exam.

Age criteria:-

For General candidates 21 years to 30years,

For OBC candidates 21 years to 33years,

The minimum requirement is at least 3 years long graduation course to be eligible for the Civil Services Examination. You can pick course of your choice as long as it is recognized.

You dont have to worry about percentage either. Because there is no criteria for minimum percentage. Passing the graduation degree with any percentage is sufficient enough to apply for the Civil Services Examination.

The entrance exam for Indian Administrative Service is conducted under Civil Services Examination. You will first have to fill the forms that are made available during the first quarter of the year.

The first exam would be preliminary exam. Here your aim is to qualify for the next stage. Please remember that the marks obtained in preliminary exam are not added into final score of the candidate.

The second stage is Main Exam. You will have to clear the 9 written tests and score as many marks as possible to qualify the entrance exam. The main exam is followed by a personal interview.

Hey friend,

There is no minimum requirement needed for the IAS exam as you just need to have completed a Graduation from a recognized university and that to with a fair percentage.There is no specific percentage which you need to have got in order for applying for the IAS exam

Apart from this the qualification which you need to possess are that you need to have a Citizenship in India as per the Nationality standard which is needed.

The age limit which is needed for the exam is that the candidate must have 21-30 years of age

There are certain upper age relaxation and for SC/ST Candidate it is 5 years exception as for them it is 21-35 years and for OBC Candidate it is 21-33 years

If you are going to satisfy all these criteria for the exam then you can apply for the IAS exam
