You have 3 options after doing diploma in electronics and communication engineering:

1)Higher Studies
You can do B.E/B.tech (4 years duration) which provides more knowledge related to your branch,grows opportunities for getting good job in terms of post,salary from a reputed company.

2)Go for Job
You can directly do job after diploma if your score is more than 70% along with the deep practical and theoretical knowledge and good communication skills.

3)Short-term courses[/B]
If you feel that any two of the above options are not good for you,then you can go for short-term courses(4-6 months each) like:
1)Embedded Systems
2)VLSI
3)Networking(CCNA)
4)Robotics
5)SCADA Communication

After diploma in ECE, you can join as Junior Engineer in railways. PSU offer enough career opportunities (in technical section) for diploma holders. BHEL, BEL, SAIL, GAIL, etc are some of the PSU where you can apply for a job. You can try for technical jobs in state government departments. Data entry or clerical jobs are also suitable for you.

I am a diploma holder in Electronics & Communication & completed in Year 2007. Now am working with a Private Company as a Senior Engineering Quality department. On the other end i am a certified lead auditor with ISO 9001,ISO/TS 16949, OHSAS 18001 & EMS 14001. I have a great knowledge about Quality Management System. But am not happy with this company. I tried a lot to switch from my existing company. But its not given fruitful results.Please help me to out of this problem.... Please guide me what could i do??

1.After your diploma degree you can't get a very good salary but if you do your graduation degree then you can get a very good salary package.

If you have no budget for BE then go for Bsc Industrial Electronics. Apply gor gov jobs based on 10th class or diploma you cam also aplly for defence sevtor. But at the end please choose the right strem that help you formin 20years. because you invest your time and money.

After a diploma in electronics and communication engineering, there are a lot of opportunities. You can apply for the post of Junior Engineers in different companies in India as well as abroad also. Keep looking for job postings via online job portals, Newspapers etc.
