what is the pattern of structure mechanics paper...please tell me

In India itself there are more than 100 universities big or small, deemed and centralized which offer engineering courses.

Also, the difficult thing is that the syllabus for these universities is not same so we cannot predict that which university you are talking and how we should give the exam pattern of mechanics paper of that particular university.

But, using our experience we would like to tell you that whatever be the university, mechanics is a subject in which the marks distribution will be like-
60% numericals and
40% theory.

In theory also, 20% would be derivations.

So, we would advise you that, you prepare according to the above pattern given.
