Re: What is the preliminary exam pattern of Indian Forest Service?
The Indian Forest Service is conducted by the Union Publlic Service Commission every year for the recruitment of posts in the forest department.
The IFS exam consists of two stages :- 1.Preliminary Examination 2.Main Examination IFS Preliminary Examination Pattern :- >>The exam consists of two papers of 200 marks each of only objective type(multiple choice) questions. >>The question paper is set in the English and Hindi Languages. But for testing through passages type of questions, the questions to you will be provided only in the English language. >>For every question, you will have four options, and for every wrong answer given by you 1/3rd of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted from the marks you had obtained. >>Each paper will be of two hours duration. For the blind candidates an extra time of twenty minutes will be allowed for the each paper. After qualifying the preliminary examination, you can appear for the Indian Forest Service Main Examination. |
