What is the procedure followed to get admission for mechanical engineering after completion of course from MSBTE? Can you please let me know the minimum criteria? Who can provide me the details on this? I need to get the admission soon.

To get admission in Mechanical Engineering course after completion of your Diploma in Engineering course from Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), you must have to follow the below mentioned procedure :-

Step :- 1 Sale of Information Brochure :-
You need to purchase the Information Brochure along with the Application kit from any one of the Application Form Receipt Centers by paying the application processing fees. The Application Kit contents the Application ID and Password.

Step-II :: Online Submission of Application Form :
You need to fill the "Online Application Form for Admission to Direct Second Year Engineering/Technology" through online at Maharashtra DTE official website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/dse2015.

Step-III :- Document Verification and Confirmation of Submission of Online Application Form at ARC :-
After submitting the online application form, you are required to confirm the submission of application form at any convenient ARCs.

You need to produce duly signed copy of the Online Application Form along with the attested Xerox copies and also you need to carry the originals of these required supporting documents enlisted in the online form and Payment Receipt for confirmation at ARC.

Step-IV :- Provisional Final Merit List Form :-
The Provisional Merit List for Diploma Candidates will be displayed on official website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/dse2015 and you can also check at ARC.

Step-V :- Publication of Vacancy for CAP Rounds
The Number of Seats available for each course college/university wise along with detailed distribution of seats will be displayed on the website and made available to candidates before submission of the option form of the respective CAP Rounds.

Step-VI :- Submission of Online Option Form :-
If your name is in the final merit list then, you need to fill and submit the Online Options Form by using your assigned Application ID.

You need to confirm your Online Option form through Online Software Application which is hosted on Maharashtra DTE official website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/dse2015.

Step-VII :- Display of Allotment, Reporting to the respective College/University and confirmation of the admission of CAP :-
In this step, the allotment of candidates will be displayed on the website. The candidates need to take a printout of the displayed allotment and report at the respective College/ University along with the required original documents and pay applicable fees in full as per schedule.

The College/University will verify your Original documents before admitting and after verification, the College/University will update your admission status of reporting when you are admitted.

This completes the admission process for pursuing Mechanical Engineering course, if you are not satisfied with the college you got in allotment process, you can participate in further CAP rounds to get admission in another college where you wish to pursue Mechanical Engineering course.
