what should be the quelification for appling income tax entrance examnation and have any age critearea

Income Tax Officer post is reputed post.
- For Officers of Group-A level post you have to take UPSC exam.
- All graduate are eligible for this post.
- Age limit: 21-30 years.
- Age for OBC: 21-33 years.
- Age for SC/ST: 21-35 years.
For Income Tax Inspector you have to take SSC CGL exam.
- Eligibility is same: any stream graduation.
- Age limit some different: below 27 years.
- For OBC: below 30 years.
- For SC/ST: Below 32 years.
Selection process:
1. Tier-1 exam.
2. Tier-T exam.
3. Personal interview.

To become an Income Tax Officer you have to clear the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exams.This Exam is conducted every Year in the month of JULY & notification comes out in March-April.SSC Combined Level Exams are conducted in three Tiers.
Tier 1 -You have to first appear in Tier 1 written exams and clear it.
Tier 2 -After clearing Tier 1 you become eligible to appear in Tier 2 exams.
Tier 3 -Interviews are conducted for candidates successful in Tier 2 exams.
Eligibility:
Educational Qualification - Minimum qualification is Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
Age Limit- 18-27yrs in general category,for OBC relaxation of upper age limit by 3yrs and for SC/ST by 5yrs.
The starting salary is around Rs.27000-30000 per month and other benefits or incentives.

In order to apply for Income Tax Officer,you will have to appear and get passed in SSC UDC(Upper Divisional Clerk) Exam.

Eligibility required for Income Tax Exam

Educational Qualification :-

>>You must be graduation pass out in any stream from recognized university.
>>Your degree should be approved from the UGC.

Marks :-

>>Your minimum marks in Graduation should be 50%.

Age :-

>>Your minimum age should be 18 years.
>>Your age should not be above 28 years.

Age Relaxation details(Only for Reserved category) :-

>>If you will belong from OBC category then you will get 3 years of age relaxations.
>>If you belong from the SC/ST category then you will get 5 years of age relaxations.

Exam Pattern :-

>>Preliminary Exam.
>>Mains Exam.
>>Interview.
>>Medical Exam.

Details of Written Exam(Preliminary Exam):-

>>Reasoning.
>>Numerical Aptitude.
