Income tax officer exam is conducted by the SSC (STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION).

Eligibility criteria:

The candidate should be complete graduation from any recognised university.

The age criteria is not more than 27years and not lessthan 18years.

The candidate should be a citizen of india.

Hello friend,

If you want to become an Income Tax Officer while in your Third year of B. Com then you can absolutely do this by taking the following necessary steps ; -

Staff Selection Commission organizes SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) Exam once in every year and through this exam Govt. of India recruits candidates for various department of Govt. of India and Income Tax Department being one of them.

Eligibility Criteria of this exam is as follows -

1. Minimum graduate or final year in Graduation.
2. Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
3. No Subject Limitation
4. Age limit is Minimum 21 years and Maximum 27 years. You can also get relazation as per your category.

Exam pattern -

Exam is taken in 03 phase which are as follows -

1. Pre (200 Marks paper consisting English, Maths, Reasoning and GK)
2. Mains (400 Marks containing English paper of 200 Marks and Maths paper of 200 Marks)
3. Interview -
