NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year. NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:-Indian Air Force , Indian Navy and Indian Army .

Educational Qualification : -

Those candidate have completed 12th standard are applicable for NDA Exam

Sorry to say that 11 th standard candidate are not applicable for NDA exam but 12th standard candidate can apply here

NDA Stands National Defence Academy

This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year

NDA examination wings following Three Academies :

Indian Army

Eligibility Criteria :

The Candidates must be Indian .

The Candidates must be complete 12th stands or appearing from a recognized university , there is no required percentage in our educational stands (12th stand)

The Candidates min of age limit 16.5 years and max of age limit 19 years & there is no age relaxation , Only unmarried male candidates eligible for apply , other wise not eligible for apply

The Candidates selection process based on following the stages

one is Written Test , other one is SSB Interview & last one is Medical Test

NDA i.e National Defence Academy Examination and it is conducted by UPSC twice in a year . NDA II notification was already released and last date for receipt of application on 03/06/12 . The examination is going to be held in the month of August (11/08/13 ) . Minimum required qualification is to applying the post of Army wings , Navy wings and Air force . The candidate must have a holding the intermediate qualification , If you having the intermediate qualification then definitely you are eligible to apply for this examination .

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Exam ::

The applicant should have a Higher Secondary Level qualification , it is mandatory to apply for this examination and applicant who are going to appear for the 12th board examination may also eligible to apply for this examination . 11th std applicant's may not eligible to apply for this examination . But after completing 12th exam or appearing 12th exam you are eligible to apply .

The applicant must have 16.5 - 19 years and Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination . Female candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination . There is no limitation to attempts this examination .

NDA stands for National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC as NDA-I and NDA-II twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing f NDA.

Qualification Required for NDA:-

-The candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male candidate only.
-Should have either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board.
-Should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.

no you are elligible for nda because you are in 11th standard .nda (national defence acedmy) have some rules and limits and you are not fit for these condition.
1st problem is that only 12th passed or appearing student can give this exam age must be 18 years to 27 years.

You have to pass 12th or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education to become eligible for NDA examination.

NDA is National Defense Academy and UPSC conducts the exam for recruitment of cadets into this academy.

Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years and you must be an unmarried male then only you can apply for NDA exam.

Also only Indian citizen are eligible to apply for this examination.

Eligibility details:-

For Indian Airforce and Navy the applicant should be complete 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a recognised state board or university.

For Indian Army the applicant should be complete 12th standard in any discipline from a recognised state board or university.

There is no restrictions on percentage criteria.

12th standard exams appearing candidates are also applicable for this exam.

Applicant should be physicaly fit.


Only unmarried male candidates are eligible, i.e girls are not eligible.

The candidates age limits should be in between 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

No upper age relaxation.

The NDA exam is conducted for candidate to join in Defnece forces of India such as;

• Indian Army
• Indian Navy
• Indian Air Force

In order to join in these forces you need to write the NDA exam and there are certain criteira's which you need to satisfy in order to apply for the exam and they are:

>> Nationality

>> Martial Status

>> Age Limit

>> Education Qualification

>> Physical Standard


To tell in detail about these standards it is that:

> The candidate appearing for the exam must be a Citizen of India

> The Martial Status for the exam is that the candidate applying for the exam must be a Unmarried male candidate as they are only eligible.

> The age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years of age

> The Education qualification needed for the exam is that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board for joining in Indian Army

Physical Standard for NDA Examination

You can apply for the NDA exams till the time you meet the below eligibilty conditions.

Education:
Indian Airforce and Indian Navy Wing- 12th class or Intermediate Pass.In class 12th you should have studied the subjects Physics and Maths.
Indian Army- 12th class or Intermediate Pass in any stream

Age- Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years
No age relaxations is given to any candidates who apply for the NDA exams

Next NDA exams would be held on 11th August 2013
Only Candidates born between 2nd July 1995 to 1st January 1998 can apply for this exams

Male candidates are only allowed to apply for the NDA exams

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. The NDA examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in the months of April and September.

This exam is for the candidates who are interested to pursue a career in defense and you can enter the following academies on successfully cracking this exam:-

• Indian Military Academy
• Naval Academy
• Air Force Academy

• Only unmarried male candidates of India are allowed to give this examination therefore unfortunately girls are not allowed. While staying in the academy for three years you cannot get unmarried because on doing so you will be asked to leave.

• You just need to pass H.S. or its equivalent from a recognized board if you want to enter the Indian Military Academy. You have the liberty to choose your subject combination here.

• To enter the Air Force Academy & Naval Academy you need to pass 12th standard successfully from a recognized board but in addition to that they need to have physics and mathematics as their compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.

• Minimum Age Limit:- 16.5 years
• Maximum Age Limit:- 19 years

♦ The selection procedure is based on the following stages:-

• Written Examination
• Physical Test by SSB
• Intelligence Test

> For the exam 900 marks have been allotted and for each paper you will get 2.5 hours. The two papers are as follows: Mathematics and General Ability Test. For the former 300 marks have been allotted and for the latter 600 marks have been allotted.
