There are different types of job in Army as per individuals qualification.
As you have not mentioned your qualification so I can not suggest the correct job for you.

Different criteria to join Army.

** If your qualification is 10th then you can join Army as a soldier.

** If your qualification is 12th then you can join Army as a soldier/officer
(through NDA).
** If your qualification is graduate then you can join Army as a Education
Havaldar/officer (through CDS).

There are different branches in Army i.e. Techanical, Admin, Accounts, logistics, Education and flying branches.

there are so many post in Indian army. but you will b eligible for different post according to your age and educational qualification. you may opted for soldier post or you may try in some official post. there are so many different scheme to enter in Indian army like TES, NDA, UES etc.

Tech Entry Scheme(TES)

Month of Commencement of Course each year - January and July

Age at the time of joining - 16 and 1/2 to 19 and 1/2 years

Educational Qualification - 10+2 Pass with 70% aggregate in PCM.

How to Apply - Apply directly to the Recruitment Directorate in response to advertisement in May and November

National Defence Academy(NDA):-

Month of Commencement of Course each year - January and July

Age at the time of joining - 16 and 1/2 to 19 years

Educational Qualification - Class 12 of the 10+2 system of education or equivalent

Mode of selection - NDA exam by UPSC and SSB interview

How to Apply - Apply in response to advertisement in March/April & Oct./Nov.

There are many posts in army and its completely based on your education qualification. if you are in 12 or passed you can apply for nda that is hold by upsc and is available in www.upscgov.in and for this you should be 16 to 19 and if you are having pcm and having above 70 percent in pcm then apply for technical entry and other are ssr also and one more chance is that you can apply in education department in army and are a good post in army Here more information on www.joinindianarmy.in

This is really a very general question to ask. There are lots and lots of different types of jobs available in the Army. The jobs start from a domestic help to an officer to the Army chief. The qualifications for all the various posts are different. So it is very hard to give a detailed list of jobs and their qualifications. You can join as a soldier, a musician in the band, a driver, a hawaldar, a commando, a pilot in army aviation, a logistics man, a personnel in the intelligence department, a commissioned officer etc.
