The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India's central agency authorized to conduct the various recruitment exams such as :

*Civil Services Examination,
* Engineering Services Examination
* Combined Defence Services Examination,
* National Defence Academy Examination,
* Naval Academy Examination
* Combined Medical Services Examination

The Educational qualification needed for this exam is :
Graduation .in any discipline from any recognised university

A candidate must hold a degree of any recognised university.

A candidate who has appeared the exam and the passing of which would render him /her educationally Qualified for UPSC but is waiting for the result is also eligible for the Preliminary exam . But if the candidate is qualified in the prelims then he/ she has to produce the result before the Main exam .

A candidate possessing professional or technical qualification which is recognised by the government of India would also be eligible .

A candidate who has passed the MBBS or any medical examination but has'nt completed the internship is also applicable for the prelims as well as main exam but he /she has to submit a certificate from the concerned authority that he /she has completed all the requirement of the course including internship , at hte time of interview .


Also to qualify for the UPSC following are the criterias :

1 . Nationality
A candidate should be the citizen of India
or the subject of Nepal
or the subject of Bhutan
or a Tibetian refugee who is a permanent settler of India now .


2. Age limits 21 to 30 years for general category

Age relaxation :
3years for O.B.C
5 years for SC/ST

Civil services examinations:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university are applicable .Final year candidates may also apply for the examinations.

Combined Defence Services examinations:

If you have graduation degree then you are applicable for CDS Exam.

NDA/NA exam:

Only 12th standard candidate can apply here , final year candidate also applicable .

Central police force examinations:

Graduation is the minimum educational requirement for this examination in any discipline .

For SCRA Exam:

Qualification is required candidate must have complete the +2 with science background .

Indian Engineering Services:

Having Graduation in engineering branches with Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Electronics engineering are applicable .

Indian Forest Services:

If you have these subject in Graduation , Graduation with at lest one of the subject namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology OR Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry OR in Engineering of any of University

Dear friend,

UPSC is a self-governing body that conducts following exams every year.

>> National Defence Academy(NDA) Exams.
>> Civil Service Examinations-Preliminary and Mains.
>> Indian Forest Service Exams.
>> Indian Engineering Service Exams.
>> Combined Defence Services Exams.
>> Indian Statistical/Economics Service Exams.
>> Combined Medical Services Exams.
>> Central Police Force Examinations.
>> Section Officers/Stenographers exams.
>> Special Class Railway Apprentices.
>> Geologists Examinations.

Among these exams, NDA (National Defence Academy) and SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentices) can be appeared just after 10+2.

You can also appear if you are in 10+2 currently.

And, there is no specific qualification required for Section Officers/Stenographers Exam.

For Geologists Exam, you need Master's degree in Geology/Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a recognized university.

For Indian Statistical/Economics Service Exams, you need Post Graduation in respective subjects.

For Indian Forest Service Exam, you need to have Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognized university/institution.

Rest all exams need Graduation. Only then you can appear for rest exams.

UPSC stands for the Union Public Service Commission


$$ UPSC Conducted various types of Exam for various types of Recruitment like for the post of Governor there is IAS Exam, For Police Service there is IPS Exam for Engineering Section There is IES examination, For Forest department IFS exam and For the Defense Section NDA Examination conducted.......


Educational Qualification:-


$$ For Becoming any of the UPSC Examination a candidate must possesses Bachelor degree in any field of Study expect for NDA must have completed their 12th is enough......

$$ Final year of Graduation degree may also applicable for the same...

$$ A candidate must be an Indian.....


Age Criteria:-

• Lower Age should be at least 21 years.
• Upper age should not exist 30 years.

Relaxation on age:-


## For OBC - 3 years on upper age.
## For SC/ST - 5 years on upper age.
## For PH/PWD - 10 years on upper age.

following is the eligibility/qualification required for Civil service examination

- You should have Indian Citizenship
- you should have done your graduation from recognized college in any field
- your age should be in between 21-30 years
- Relaxation of 5 year for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC as per the reservation norms

General Category: 4 attempts
OBC: 7 attempts
SC/ST : no limit on attempts
