Indian forest services(IFS) examination is conducted by the Union Public service commission every year. The eligibility criteria required for this examination is given below:

Education Qualification
The candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for the Indian forest service examination.

Age Limit
Candidate age should be between 21 to 30 years. Relaxation in age is given to following category candidates:

> five year relaxation to the candidate belongs to a Scheduled
Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

> three year relaxation to Other Backward Classes.

> three years in the case of Defence Services Personnel.

> 10 years in the case of blind, deaf-mute and orthopaedically handicapped
persons.

Exam Fee
General category and OBC candidates has to pay Rs. 100
SC/ST candidates have no need to pay fees.

The Acronym "IFS" stands for Indian Forest Services. The Union Public Service Commission conducts the IFS Exam every year.

The Basic Requisites for the IFS Exam are :

* The Candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

* Those candidates who are currently in the final year of graduation are also considered eligible to appear for the exam.

* The Age Limit for the IFS Exam is 21-30 years considering that you belong to General Category.

* Relaxation in upper age is granted to Reserved Category candidates as follows :

a) For OBC Candidates : 3 yrs

b) For SC/ST Candidates : 5 yrs

c) For Ex-Servicemen : 10 yrs

* The candidates must have citizenship of India.

• Age:Candidates must be 21 to 30 Years of age as on 1st July of the year of examination.Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.

For appearing in IFS exam candidate must be a graduate in any one of these subjects – Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry OR any engineering degree from any government recognized university.

Final year student are eligible for IFS exam

You are from B.Com department .So sorry dear you are not applicable for IFS Exam .

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

IFS Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year in two stages :

a) Preliminary Examination
b) Main Examination.

IFS stands for Indian Forest Service and this Examination is Organized by Union Public Service Commission

You have Mention you age limit . To appear in this Examination than you should attained the age of 21 years to 30 years

-The maximum age limit for the Applicant who belonging from SC/ST category is 35 years of age .
-The Maximum age Limit for the Applicant who belong from OBC Category is 33 years for age .

Educational Qualification :-

You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in scienc stream and you should having any one of the Subjects like, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science /Botany /Chemistry /Geology / Mathematics /Physics /Statistics /Zoology Etc.. from recognized University .
