## NET(National Eligibility Test) examination is conducted by University Grants Commission twice every year in JUNE and DECEMBER months ## The minimum educational qualification required to apply for NET examination is master's degree(postgraduation) with atleast 55% of marks and there is 5% marks relaxation for reserved category candidates & final year postgraduate students are also eligible to apply ## Maximum age limit to apply for Junior Research Fellowship is 28 years and age relaxations for reserved category candidates are as per government rules & there is no maximum age limit for Lecturership ## For further details please visit www.ugc.ac.in ** ALL THE BEST ** |

NET is an exam to enter into JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) and Lectureship. UGC exam conducting this exam every year twice i.e in the month of June and December. NET stands for National Eligibility Test. Details about Eligibility criteria:- The applicant should be complete Master's degree with a minimum of 55%of marks from a recognised university. There is a relaxation of 5% of marks for SC/ST candidates. You must be a citizen of India. Final year attempting candidates can also be eligible. There is no limit on number of attempts. Age criteria for JRF:- The maximum age limit is 28 years, and no minimum age limit. 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates. There is no age limit for Lectureship. Exam pattern:- Application fee details:- Rs. 450 for General category, Rs. 225 for OBC category, Rs. 110 for SC/ST category. The Full Form of NET is National Eligibility Test. This is a national level test which is conducted every year for those candidates who want to be selected for the below mentioned posts : * Lectureship * Junior Research Fellowship The National Eligibility Test is conducted every year twice by the University Grants Commission [UGC]. The National Eligibility Test is conducted in the months of June and December every year. The Qualifications Required for National Eligibility Test are : ** The candidate must have completed Post Graduation in any stream from any recognized university. ** The candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in Post Graduation. ** A relaxation of 5% marks is given to SC/ST Candidates. ** Candidates who are pursuing post Graduation in final year can also appear for the National Eligibility Test. ** There is no age limit if you are willing to apply for the post of Lectureship. ** For Junior Research fellowship , the candidate`s age must lie in between 20-28 years. ** The UGC also grants a relaxation of 3 years in upper age whereas SC/ST Candidates are granted a relaxation of 5 years. ** The candidate must be an Indian. ** Both Male and female candidates are allowed for the examination. Dear user
NET stands for National eligibility test Below are the eligibility criteria for NET. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test. ii) Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test. iii) The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET. iv) Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. The candidates whose post-graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects in item No. 9, may appear in a related subject. Good luck |

ugc means university grants commission which conducts national eligibility test...this net exam is conducted twice a year... Qualification: ************ -->the person must be a graduate in amy streanm from recognised university.... -->the person must complete post graduation with 55% marks... -->the person must be a citizen of india.. -->this exam is conducted for lectureship -->junior research fellowship age limit: ******** -->20-28 yrs -->3 trs relaxation for obc -->5 yrs relaxation fot sc/st so hope this information helps you...
