Re: What is the Scope in BCA?
Dear friend
BCA is a bacholar degree, BCA is a good course to start your career but i would strongly recommend you to go for MCA after completing BCA. Because that will provide you a good salary pacakge and chance to get a jobs in Multinational companies. After completing MCA, you will get jobs in some companies such as Wipro, Infotech, and even International companies such as Vodafone. So, BCA will provide you a platform, to do MCA, after completing this course, After completing MCA, you will get a salary around 20,000 to 30,000 per month in software and IT companies like Dell, HP etc. So, BCA is a good course, but not so much scope of BCA students in now a days. After BCA, if you do MCA, then your future will be secure. |

Re: What is the Scope in BCA?
hi!
After completing BCA you can either pursue higher studies or can apply for jobs. After BCA you can look for some junior level jobs in Java, J2EE, C++, Dot Net or Mainframes or any other technology in u r proficient. You can also apply for call centre jobs. But job is not advisable because you have limited scope after BCA. Once you will do postgraduate course after BCA your career prospects will increase. After BCA the best courses to undertake at the post graduate level are: MBA MCA |

Re: What is the Scope in BCA?
its better if u go for MCA after completing BCA...
BCA from an Indian university, being a fully recognised Bachelor’s degree, will entitle you to appear for any MBA entrance test. You can also enrol for the CA/CS Foundation Course along with your BCA. There are so many things one can do. You need to keep the 'end' in sight and do not loose that goal. If a course helps, particularly to that goal as no other thing can, go ahead and choose, other wise not. It will be a mere movement of money out of your pocket with no real return. Memory is short, any way, and the learning shall soon go in the drain if it is not used. And so will your money. Keep it with care and put it to good use. Although, Call centers require good communication, and any graduation. If you do not have problems with speech, you will do well after completing BCA.. You can also add to your list Graphics, Multimedia, Bank jobs, Teaching faculty in IT Institutes. Where you will land will depend on your efforts and interest.. gud luck |
