Biotechnology course has a valuable contribution in DNA vaccines Nutraceuticals, Organ transplantation, Plant-based drugs, Peptide synthesis, Cloning technologies, Rational drug design, Nanobiotechnology, etc. It is most important in the field of drug designing and genetic researches. The course helps in rising newer sources of alternative energy and the protection of natural resources. Some of the employment areas are Aquaculture industries, pharmaceutical companies, Agriculture industries, Food processing industries, Chemical industries, Research laboratories, Environmental specialist, etc. Those who have completed B.Tech in Biotechnology can work in various pharmaceutical companies such as Hindustan lever, Rossari Biotech India Pvt. Ltd., Dabur, etc.
