Yes, there are scopes of HR with operations, they occupy key resources in an organization. Whatever in any corporate, designing and implementation of various policies, procedures and programs are done by HR personnels.

You can have many options like:-

Payroll Processing

Statutory Compliance

Vendor Management

Employee Helpdesk

Administering Policies and Processes

Partnering with the legal dept. or with the legal consultant

HRIS

HR Analytics

Exit Processing

>>You can improve yourself in many sectors like:

1.HRM in Personnel Management

2.HRM in Employee Welfare

3.HRM in Industrial Relations

While doing HR, you should be in a position to lead the others, be cool and try to work in any environment, be confident and settle things with boss, dont try to overpower them. Dont also try to give them a negative remark about yourself.

You can improve the overall growth, development and effectiveness relating to business strategies and what not. You can be a great person with these set of skills.

In Industry, it is somewhat specific, and you may get experience about human behavior and maintaining work relations, collective bargaining and settlement of disputes.

With all these skills, you can get a good job, and have a good career out of it, you have lots of scope for it!!!

I have done PGDM with dual specialization Marketing & HR . I have a lot of interest in HR but due to the lack of right opportunities, I had to join a marketing job for about an year and a half. Now, there is an opportunity for me in HR operations.I always wanted to make my career as a HR generalist. So, I want to know If I take Up this job will it be possible to switch to HR generalist. In other words ,will my HR Operations experience be relevant for HR generalist position ?
