Re: What is the selection criteria for PSU? What types of PSU's are the best?
There is no particular eligibility criteria for the examinations conducted by the PSU.Each Company has got it's own eligibility criteria but the common Eligibility criteria is mentioned below:-
1.The candidate must have completed his graduation from a Recognized Board with a minimum of 60-65%. 2.The candidate must be between the age group of 21-30 years for exams conducted by companies like BSNL for JTO.There are even companies like NTPC which prefer Freshers i.e students who have completed their Engineering just before 1 year. There's even nothing as such that PSU's only select Engineering students.PSU's even select MBA ,M.tech candidates based on their need.We cannot tell which PSU is best because each company has got it's own advantages. Selection Criteria Each company conducts their own examination at different time but the selection pattern remains the same i.e written test in selected cities followed by interview and medical test. The difficulty of the written test varies from each PSU i.e questions asked in exams like ISRO Scientist are of higher grade when compared to questions asked by BSNL JTO.For more details about PSU's you can visit the following link-Click here |
