If you have passed 12th that is senior secondary certificate you have both available option as either to go for higher studies or to go for jobs after qualifying in entrance examination.

So, as according to your stream in 10+2 you can select your course in bachelor degree but you are eligible to appear for entrance examination such as SSC CHLSE, IB, NDA, TTE entrance examination after 10+2 from any course.
