Thumbs up Re: Career prospects of a Chemical Engineer who has selected as a Associate System Engineer in IBM?

CAREER IN IBM BEING A CHEMICAL ENGINEER:

Ofcourse your career will have huge shift if you are going to join in IBM as you won't deal with Chemical Engineering anymore but only with software programming. So, if you are really OK to do this then go ahead and take up the job offer if not better to quit it and try for job which are related to your course of study.

Getting job in Chemical Engineering is pretty much tough as the chances are quite less, so if you don't have better opportunities then it's better to do a PG course and try out the jobs later. Even doing Ph.D in the field will add lot of value to your career prospect.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
