what would be the salary of a civil engineer in usa ?

Your starting salary depends very much on your Institute and the CGPA in B.Tech course.
If your are from a premier institute like IIT, NIT, BITS etc then chances of good job are brighter. Having good aggregate is definitely a positive point.

If you want to get job in USA, then getting a MS degree would be more beneficial rather than just a B.Tech, because there are already so many graduates so chances of getting job are low.
