Hey Friend visit icai.org and you will find full particulars.cpt exams takes place in june and december.

A candidate shall be eligible to appear in Common Proficiency Test June 2010 to be held on 20th June 2010. if , Either passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) or its equivalent or must have appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) or its equivalent of a recognized Institution.

CPT June 2010 Applications for admission to Common Proficiency Test June 2010 (Paper-Pencil Mode) is required to be made on the relevant prescribed form as contained in the CPT June 2010 Information Brochure, which may be obtained from the following address on payment of Rs. 600/- (Rs.500/- towards examination fee and Rs. 100/- towards cost of CA CPT Exam 2010 application form and Information brochure) per CPT 2010 application form.

the next CPT exam is in december 2010,the form can be purchased from the respective address as prescribed by the authority.........

the form is avaialable for Rs100........so fill it up and give the exam.........

The cpt application form online is visible through the linkhttp://icaiexam.icai.org from 6th april (10.00 hrs) to 27th april(17.30 hrs).
Candidates are allowed to use only pencils there.
The fee should be remitted on or before 27th april.

Online CPT Exam is scheduled for 24/25 JULY 2010 for which, the registrations are opened till 7th July or till the seats are full, whichever is earlier.
