Next NET exam will be conducted by June. The exam is conducted two times a year. It will be in the months of December and June. UPSC is the authority that carries out the test. Detailed information can be collected from UPSC portal.

NET exams are conducted by University Grants Comission.
This exam is held in June and December each year


Last exam of the UGC-NET was held on 30th December 2012.

Next exam will be held in June 2013
Notification for this exam is expected to come out in March 2013.

This exam is held for 94 subjects.
Candidates has to choose the subject in which he or she has done his Post Graduation.

Eligibilty to appear in this Exam is:
Post Graduation Pass from a recognised college or University
Minimum 55% marks in Post Graduation for the General and OBC candidates
Minimum 50% marks for the SC/ST candidates

NET-National Eligibility Test exam conducted be UGC-University Grant Commision two time in a year in month of june and december. This exam held for jrf and lecturership.
So next net exam will be held in last week of june and december 2013.

To appear in this exam you should have post graduate degree with 55% marks
from recognise university

Age for jrf is maximum 28 year and no upper age limit for lecturership.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. It is conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for college lectureship and PhD. Those who are interested in applying in central government colleges should appear for NET.

Others should appear for State Eligibility Test (SET) of their respective state. The National Eligibility Test in 2013 will be conducted in June and December. The University Grants Commission has not released the dates yet.

The notification is likely to be issued in April/May of this year for June exam. The notification will mention all the important dates including the exam date. You should wait for the official notification by the UGC.


Eligibility

1. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

2. Only post graduation degree holders are eligible.

3. Must have scored minimum of 55 percent marks.

4. SC/ST candidates should have obtained at least 50 percent marks.

5. There is no limit on number of attempts.

6. Your NET subject should be relevant to PG course.

7. Final year students are also eligible to apply.

8. But should be able to submit the degree in 2 years.


Age Limit

1. The age limit for JRF is 28 years.

2. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

3. The requirement is 5 years for SC and ST.

4. There is no upper age limit if candidate is applying for college lectureship.

1. Junior Research Fellowship
2. Lectureship

A candidate who have completed their Post Graduation degree/Master Degree in any Discipline are eligible for applying this Examination.....

There is no any Age Criteria for applying Lectureship Post but for Junior Research Fellowship Post age not Exist 28 years this exam.....
