For this academic year, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has completed PO Exam and Clerical Exam too.

Again, after 6 months, IBPS will conduct these exams.

These written exams are the common written exams for 19 public sector banks. One can directly appear for the Interview if any public sector bank leave notification for the recruitments of POs and Clerks after qualifying and securing respective IBPS score card.

As IBPS has recently completed these exams, it will take some time for to release the notifications again.

It may take around 4-6 months for the announcement of notification. As and when the notification is announced, it will be updated in the official website of IBPS.

Here is the official website of IBPS. You can visit this website for updated information on IBPS Exams.
http://www.ibps.in/

There are no standard tips to crack this Exam. Only way to crack IBPS Exams is by having stron preparation for these exams.

The more practice you have, the less time it will take for you to answer the questions and that too with accuracy which will benefit you in qualifying in the written exam.

If possible, try to join in good coaching institute for bank exams. The competition for these exams is very high. Keep this in mind and carry out your preparation.

Generally,in bank examinations there are some important sections of which you have to qualify each section separately.

Many of the bank exams have some general sections like:

General Knowledge,

General Aptitude(Logical Reasoning,Analytical ,Insufficient data analysis etc)

General Computer Knowledge.

To crack those sections according to me:
1:study the daily newspaper.

IBPS PO exam conduct twice in a year or in every six month .This year it was conducted in the month of March 2012 and the upcoming next IBPS PO exam will be held in the month of December 2012.

Have a look on some tips to start your preparation for the same..

Understand the pattern of IBPS exam like syllabus, the written test consists of four sections namely,
English language test,
Quantitative ability,
Reasoning,
General Awareness/ Marketing Aptitude;

The descriptive test demands the candidate to write essay length answers on current issues.
Give proper time to each and every section.
Go through the previous year question papers to understand the nature of questions being asked in these exams
Practice more on simplification and quick maths& techniques, which helps you to save the time in exam.
daily newspaper and news channel to keep you up to date on whats happening around the world.
