IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection. The age limit for Common Written examination of Probationary officer post is as below:

1. General candidate: 20-30 years.

2. OBC candidate: 20-33 years.

3. SC/ST candidate: 20-35 years.

No, extension in upper age limit of Civil Services exam will not be applicable to IBPS PO examination. You should have done graduation to be eligible for IBPS PO examination.

The age limit of Union Public Service Commission for Civil Services which was increased in 2015 and at present is 21-32 years for general category has nothing to do with Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written exam for Probationary officer.

Both exams are different. They have different age criteria.

For IBPS PO examination, the age criteria is 20-30 years for general category candidates. Relaxation of three years to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates and ten years to physically disabled persons.

Age relaxation of 5 years is given to Scheduled Caste candidates. Along with the age eligibility you must have to fulfill the education qualification specified for appearing in the exam. IBPS conducts entrance examination for recruitment of candidates in different banking jobs as Clerk, PO etc..

The educational qualification to appear for these examination is candidate must have passed graduation from recognised university.

As per age eligibility the maximum eligibility to appear for examination is 30 years and +3 years and +5 years in upper age limit for OBC and SC/ST category.

Eligibility Criteria And Age Criteria for IBPS PO Recruitment:

Not at All. I am sorry to say that you are not at all eligible to apply for IBPS Probationary Officer (PO/ MT) Recruitment. Because the age required basically varies from organization to Organization. Age Criteria required are given below.

>> Minimum Age Required - 20 years

>> Maximum Age Allowed - 30 years

The age required for PO Recruitment conducted by IBPS and UPSC recruitment entirely varies. So since you are 32 years old candidate, I am once again to sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for IBPS PO Recruitment with 32 years.
