I want to appear in the IAS preliminary exam 2010 organised by upsc. I live in a remote area and that is why I have not got the proper information whether the notification for IAS preliminary 2010 has been published or not ?

Indian civil services exams notifications are released in employment news dated-02.01.2010.

Last date for reciept of application is 01.02.2010

Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 23rd May , 2010 (One day)
Minimum academic qualifications prescribed: A degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Age Limits: 21-30 years as on 01.08.2010
Remarks:Candidates appearing at the degree examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.

by the way the important dates related to IAS exam this year is as follows:

date of notification of the civil services(prelims.)--02.01.2010
last date of reciept of the application forms---01.02.2010
date of prelims. exam--23.05.2010
date of mains exam---29.10.2010

of january. the last date of submitting application form is alredy
over and the date of exams is held on 23rd may 2010........

The candidate must be a citizen of India.
The candidate must have a age limit of 21-30 years.
The candidate must have a degree from a recognized university.

Important Dates of IAS 2011:

Dates of notification : 02.01.2010
