The notification for the UPSC civil services examination is not yet published.
As per the information provided by UPSC, the notification should be published
on 19th February, 2011. The last date of receipt of application would be
21st March, 2011. It would be safe if you apply 10 days before the deadline
so that your application reaches the destination.

The notification for the exam will be published in Employment News and all
national dailies and on official website.

The last date has not yet been declared. It will be declared on 19th February,2011.
21st March,2011 is the last date of receiving the form. You can get your answer on the site www.upsc.gov.in after 19th February.

the regarding the the commencement of civil services preliminary exam are not out yet. they will publish the notification in the employment news. so you can check that regularly or you can also visit their official website for the updates

Civil services examination is conducted by UPSC. According to UPSC information the important date is given below
The date of notification is 19/2/2011.
The last date of receiving of completed application form is 21/3/2011.
The date preliminary examination is 12/6/2011.
The date of main examination is 29/10/2011.

Date of Notification:19 Feb 2011

Last date for receipt of applications:21 Mar 2011

Date of Commencement and its duration:12 Jun 2011(Sunday)

Age Limits:21-30 years as on 1.8.2011

BUT IN PUNJAB STATE & DISTT. GURDASPUR THE FORMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN PRESENT TIME PLEASE TELL ME THEN HOW CAN I GET THE FORMS?ASAP.

The forms have not started to be issued as of yet.Also, the notification is not out as of yet.

i have applied through online for UPSC prelims, i got online receipt. but not confirmation acknowledgement ..can get separately or online receipt only...
