Whether student from MPC (Maths, Physics & Chemistry) are eligible to take admission in B.Sc Agriculture or not?
I have completed my intermediate in MPC group i.e. with subject combination of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. I am presently interested in studying for B.Sc in Agriculture. Am I eligible for it? Is there any entrance exam for it?

Yes, candidates passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to appear for entrance examination to get admission in B.Sc Agriculture course.
The required qualification is that candidate must have passed 12th in PCM or PCB as main paper. The required aggregate and age limit to appear for examination varies with examination. ICAR, BHU, PU and other universities conducts entrance examination for admission in the course. |

Yes, the candidate who has passed 12th standard with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a Government recognised board are eligible to pursue B.Sc. Agriculture course. Admissions in B.Sc. Agriculture course are done through entrance examination conducted by the respective state or through entrance examination conducted by the respective college/ university. Since, you have passed 12th standard with PCM stream, you are eligible to get admission for pursuing B.Sc. Agriculture course.

As far as you are concerned about your eligibility for pursuing B.Sc. in Agriculture degree course having completed your Class 12th with MPC group then I would like to let you know that you are not eligible for pursuing B.Sc. in Agriculture as for pursuing same degree course you are required to have completed your Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Agriculture as main subjects from a recognized board of education.
But, if you can opt for agriculture engineering i.e; B.Tech in Agriculture degree course as per your educational qualification if you are interested in going in agriculture field. |

Yes, you are eligible to get admission in the B.Sc Agriculture course. It is four year duration course.
The required qualification to appear for entrance examination is that candidate must have passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as main paper. So, you can appear for entrance examination and after qualifying for the examination will become eligible to get admission in the various universities and institutes offering the course. BHU. Punjab University. ICAR conducts AIEEA entrance examination for admission in central government affiliated colleges. |

B.Sc Agriculture course is bachelor degree course. The required eligibility to appear for examination to get admission in the course is :
Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology in 12th. The minimum required aggregate to appear for examination is 50% but it varies with entrance examination conducted by some of the institutes. Having completed your Class 12th with PCM group you are not eligible for pursuing B.Sc. in Agriculture ( Hons. ) degree course as for this course students having completed their Class 12th with PCB or PCAgri. group are only eligible.
But, as per your educational qualification you can go for agriculture engineering course i.e; B.Tech in Agriculture degree course if you really want to make your career in agriculture related field. |

The academic qualification required to apply for B.Sc in Agriculture is that candidate must have done 12th with PCM subjects or PCB subjects. Minimum of 50% marks in board examination is required to apply for B.Sc in Agriculture.
You are eligible for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture after 12th with PCM subjects. You can apply for All India Entrance Examination for Admission conducted by ICAR for admission in top agriculture colleges. |

The eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Science in Agriculture course:
Academic qualification: 12th passed from a recognized board with PCM subjects or PCB subjects. You should have at least 50% marks in board examination. Minimum age limit required for this examination is 17 years. You can apply for Indian Council of Agriculture Research AIEEA examination for admission in top colleges of B.Sc Agriculture. |
