SSC is the acronym for Staff Selection Commission, which conducts examination for recruitment in various departments of the Government of India. Since there are various posts as well as departments, combined as well as separate exams for those departments and posts are conducted and some of them are:

Combined Graduate Level Examination- For recruitment of inspector/sub-inspector in CBI, Custom, Income Tax department, divisional accountants etc.
Examinations for lower divisional clerks
Junior Hindi Translator
CPO's
