why more people tendency for the government job?

Inclination of people towards government job is more than private job
because of following reasons;

After the pay revision (VIth Pay commission) people are getting decent
salary in government job too according to their qualification and in some
case there are chances of getting more salary in Government jobs rather
than private jobs.

The work load and senior staff stress are less in Government job.

Future seem to be more secured in Government job because one can't
be moved out of the job just because his/her boss is not happy.

Also, there is more relaxed work environment in government job(in general).

In many case this is a matter of pride to work in a publilc setor company
to work under government eg, Section Engineer in Railway, IES,
Civil Services, Executives in SAIL,NTPC,PGCIL, Govt. Oil Industry.

Govt. jobs are more beneficial in terms of providing you a balanced work life and job security. While in private sector you find a stiff competition and prolonged working hours to get good incentive and all.
In Govt. everything is fixed. No one can order you or force you to get the work done in the given period.
Some people think that it would be good to choose govt. job after initial years of experience in private sector so that they can settle and lead a peaceful life.

govt jobs are prefered to be the best cos of the reason that there is disciplined way of working and have a proper workings under the view of govt. either state or central govt,these jobs provides the stability to the worker and have the pension plans so that even after the retirement one can easilly spend his/her expenses by pension.Whereas in private sector their is uncertainity in jobs and the recession directlly affects the private sector.

Now the next significant factor would that be of the pay structure, as it is a very important factor for any job-searching individual. Personally I think the next factor an employee would scratch his head over is of the number of working hours he / she has to input and that is a big plus over private sector. In government sector jobs, there are standard working hours, unlike private sector ones, where an individual has to do overtime against ones wishes (many time without any benefits as well). And if at all situation demands a government employee to do overtime, then he / she is entitled to attractive overtime benefits.

An important factor, which any job seeker would take in account, is the promotional benefits. In government jobs, promotion is always based on the service period hence, the longer you work, and higher are the promotional opportunities. To conclude, the main benefits of working with government organizations is the reputation associated with it on a whole as well as the numerous opportunities coming up in recent times due to stellar growth of Indian Economy.

Also, I would like to highlight that Private Sector jobs do have their own advantages as well, and in many cases a Government job may not be right for an individual.

i think there are no any negative point in government job, since after sixth pay commission, salary has increased almost twice.
So salary is not less in government job.

So, i suggest you to always prefer government job on private job.

govt. jobs are more beneficial because they provide you a decent salary according to your qualifications.

they also give you a balanced environment for your work and the work load and stress is much less in govt job as compared to private sector.

the most interesting and important difference is that you dont have to worry about losing your job just bcoz your seniors are not happy with your style of working.your job is secured and there is also no competition.

You will get many benefits like:-

> Pension Facilities
> Family protection
etc
