I am madhumati .S.k, I want to know that will govt give job immidiatly after passing the NET? or we have to search for job after passing the NET?

NET is an entrance exam which will test you on whether you have the talent to be a teacher. You need to clear this test to be qualified. But after clearing the test you need to find a job yourself. You need to check out for vacancies and apply accordingly. So make sure that you prepare well for the exam and clear in the first attempt.

You will have to find the job. till then you will be getting scholarships for passing in NET exam.

you need to search for it.according to vacancy you have assigned for lecturer.

Yes,NET -National Eligibility Test is an exam for the JRF and Lecturership . After you have completed this exam you have to approach both Governement and private sector colleges and you can be recruited as Lecturer in any of the colleges.

after clearing NET if someone does not get a job then he will be paid a fellowship.

NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities/ Colleges/Institutions. Provided however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions.

no one will call for interview if u apply for A govt post.

all are sold for a flat rate ranging between 15 to 25 lakhs.

best do phd, go abroad. though u may not save much, at least u will gain some knowledge, knowledge only.

I am working with one of the affiliated college of Guru gobind singh Indraprastha university from two years. Even after qualifying NET and JRF exam i am getting only 15,000 Rs as salary.What should i do???

By qualifying for this exam you will have the license to look for jobs as a teacher in various government and private colleges.
So work hard and give your best shot.

Dear friend i want to tell you that you can not be sure about that the govt. will provide jobs immediately after the completion of your NET course. Hope for the best that the govt. will provide jobs for the NET holders. Till then after the completion of your course you can try to find some Private teaching job and carry on till the govt. provides Teaching jobs. Thanks.

Dear sir/madam, I was trying for NET in Tourism Administration & Management. I want to change this subject and I want to try for Political Science. Is my decision is correct ? Or should I continue trying in Tourism Management ? Actually passing percentage in tourism is very less and this subject is not taught in all colleges.
