sir my AIEEE rank is 28799 will i be able to get a good NIT with a good branch like CSE ECE CE if not NIT then any other college with these branches if not then i shud go for 2nd atempt rather

your rank is just a bit to high to get in to a nit but still you can get good private engg. collages like thapar

2nd attempt is always a risky a attempt

hi..unless you have an reservation of some king there is no chance that you would be getting admission in an good national institute of technology and that too in the lucrative branches like the computer science or electronics.you can think of taking admission in some national institute of technologies like the jammu nit which do not have proper following among the students,but the best option would be for you to drop for this year and try to get an very good rank next time so that you can get admission in the colleges like national institute of technology trichy or suratkal

I have 60 marks in AIEEE exam 2011. Can i get a good NIT or govt. college

for getting NIT, as a general candidate you must have to score atleast 24000 all india rank in AIEEE exam.since your rank is little bit high then there is very less chance to getting NIT.

Dear friend, as you have scored this rank which is a good one , still it may not help you get into some good or top NITS. You may get a seat into some NIT eg. NIT SRINAGAR, NIT AGARTALA, or the new NITs but the brach may not be your desired one. But you have definitely made roads to good and reputed deemed universities or self- financing colleges.
