Will low percentage in Boards affect admission to MBA colleges?

I have given the IIT-JEE and various other entrance exams this year but im not faring well enough to get a DECENT college. Due to pressure and backlog of entrance exams i neglected board exams as well. I want to do an MBA from an IIM or a reputed college abroad later on but these colleges require good board %. So will dropping a year and reappearing for boards and JEE be a viable option or should i take up an average college along with a bad board % (mostly 60). Its a very important decision to make so please give detailed advice.

well if you are targeting top colleges

definitely your overall academic record plays an important role

The thing is if you have low score do not worry because you can not

change the past, work on other factors such as your CAT preparation

soft skills, your graduation score, if you are still in graduation,

have a good reason to explain your low scores,

However in addition there are other colleges which do not lay much emphasis

on academics and your CAT?XAT/MAT/MH-CET score shoild be good then you

can get good colleges
