Hello Sir, My name is Ethan I am 18 years old, I want to know if I can join the Indian Army because I did not complete class 10th but I was wondering if I could do my class 10th through the Army? I went to a skills school and studied for Hospitality and I really want to join the Army so I want to know is it possible to pursue class 10th while working for the Indian Army? Please answer as soon as possible.

No its not possible minimum qualification to join in Indian Army is 10th standard from recognized schools.

* And should be pass in your 10th Board exams and then 45% required.
* Age should be 17 and 1/2 to 21 and 1/2.
* So i suggest you to complete at least Board exams its too useful in your future.

Sorry, you are not eligible to join the Indian Army without completing Class 10th. To join Indian Army, you should first pass the matriculation. The minimum eligibility is a pass in 10th standard with 45% marks. The candidates should be in the age group of 17.5 years to 21 years. It is not possible to pursue your class 10th while working in the Indian Army, because you should clear 10th to join the Indian Army. The Join Indian Army website link is Click Here

No, you are not eligible for Indian Army without completing 10th standard.

After completion of 10th standard, you can join BSF,CISF GD post but you are not eligible for Indian Army directly.

Selection process for GD post:-

1)Written test

2)Physical test

3)Medical test

Yes you are eligible for joining Indian Army as a tradesmen at the post of house keeper, mess keeper, etc. without being a Class 10th passed candidate but for the same you need to qualify its Rally followed by Common Entrance Examination.

--> Also for appearing in the same examination you must satisfy the qualifications given below :-

* You must have be an unmarried Indian male citizen.

* Your age must lie within 17.5 years to 23 years.

* You must have at least passed your Class 8th school examination from a recognized school with at least 33% marks in the same.

* You must satisfy the physical fitness norms as per the service requirement. For example your height must not be less that 170 cm.

You cannot join the India Army without completing class 10th. First complete the class 10th, then think of joining. If you go through the India Army website even for a lower post they need at least 10th as a minimum qualification. So,complete 10th first & then open your chance to apply.
