Re: How to become an Indian Army officer after class 10th?
To be an officer in Indian Army, at the very first you need to complete your higher secondary school degree and then you will have to qualify NDA entrance examination to join NDA.
NDA stands for National Defense Academy and as the name suggests it is an defense academy which provided necessary education and trainings to those who have managed to qualify NDA entrance examination and are looking to be a defense officer i.e; lieutenant. NDA entrance examinations are held twice every year by UPSC in two stages which includes Written Examination and SSB ( Service Selection Board ) interview respectively. --> The minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in the same examination are as here under :- * You must be an unmarried Indian male citizen with your age lying within 16.5 years to 19.5 years. * You must have completed your higher secondary school degree course in any discipline from a recognized university. * You must satisfy the fitness norms as specified in the notification chart for the same examination. For further details you can refer to the official link of UPSC i.e; www.upsc.gov.in. |

Being a Class 10th passed candidate, to be an officer in Indian Army you will have to at least complete your Class 12th and then have to join NDA. Also you can become the same after completing your graduation too by joining CDS.
At present the only option for you in the Indian Army are the options of soldier and tradesmen i.e; Mess keeper, Store keeper etc. for which you will have to qualify its respective entrance examination which includes Rally followed Common Entrance Examination.
