I am a graduate in arts and ex servicemen. My age is 38 years. I want to know if i can apply for the sub inspector post in Assam Police. Please reply with a good answer.

Yes, candidate can apply for Sub Inspector post in Assam Police after Graduation in Arts.

Eligibility :

• Candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university.
• Age of candidate must be form 20 to 24 years.
• Relaxation is also there as per government norms. Relaxation of 10 years is there for ex-servicemen excluding service period.

Eligibility Criteria Required to apply for Assam Police Sub Inspector Post:

The minimum qualification required is as follows.
>> Candidates must have completed Graduation in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution from a recognized university.

Minimum age criteria is required as follows.
>> Minimum Age - 20 years
>> Maximum Age - 24 years

You are not eligible to apply for Assam Police Sub Inspector post with the present age criteria. So I suggest you to apply or Home Guard Post in Assam Police Recruitment in order to be eligible.
