You have completed BA from IGNOU so you are eligible for IMA exam which is conducted by UPSC. So you can apply IMA exam through CDS.

To enter the Indian Military Academy you need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and your age should be in between 19 to 23 years.

Yes, B.A. graduates are eligible to appear in CDS Indian Military Academy (IMA) examination which is conducted by UPSC every year. Following is the eligibility criteria required to appear in UPSC IMA examination is mentioned below :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.

3. You must be in between 19-24 years old.

Examination Pattern :-
The CDS IMA examination is conducted for maximum of 300 marks and the question paper is of objective type from the subjects mentioned below :-
--> English :- 100 Marks
--> General Knowledge :- 100 Marks
--> Elementary Mathematics :- 100 Marks

Selection Procedure :-
1. Written Test
2. Personal Interview
