Hi, I want to appear for PSC exams but have no idea about the eligibility criteria. Can you please guide me about it and share the details as soon as possible. Thanks

Eligibility Criteria Required for Public Service Commission Exams:

The basic educational qualification required for appearing in Public Service Commission Examinations is given below in detail.

>> Candidates must have completed Graduate Degree or Post Graduate of Diploma in relevant discipline or Post Gradation or Graduation from a recognized university.

>> The minimum age required for appearing Public Service Commission is 18 years

>> The maximum age must not exceed 33 years for general category candidates.

>> There will be an age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH) as per the government norms.

>> The selection process includes Preliminary Examination, Main Examination followed by Personal Interview.

PSC ( Public Service Commission ) examinations are held for recruitment of administrative officer. Basically, PSC examinations are of two types one is held at National level known as Civil Services examination and is held by UPSC where as other one is State PSC held by different states concerning board of education.

* The basic qualifications required for appearing in these examinations are as here under :-

--> You must have the nationality of India.

--> You must have completed your graduation degree course in any discipline from a recognized university.

--> Your age must lie within 21 years to 32 years for Civil Services examination as for other state PSC age limits are different.

* Also all the PSC examinations are held in three stages which includes Preliminary Test, Mains and Personal Interview respectively.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for Public Service Commission exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years.
