Yes, you are eligible to apply for UPSC examination after completion of your B.E (EEE) course from a recognised university. Eligibility criteria required to appear in most of the UPSC examinations is mentioned below :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have obtained Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

3. You must be in between 21-32 years of age. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

4. You must be physically fit as per physical standards mentioned in the UPSC examination notification.

Yes, you are certainly eligible to appear in UPSC Examination after completion of Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical discipline. Remember, to be eligible for appearing in UPSC Examinations you must meet the required eligibility criteria. Here is the minimum qualification required for UPSC based recruitment examinations. UPSC actually is an examination conducting agency several recruitment examinations. So the minimum qualification requires basically varies from examination to examination. As you have successfully completed "B.E in Electrical Engineering", I am sure you are certainly eligible to apply for almost all the exams conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

For Civil Services Preliminary/ Mains Exam - Graduation is Required

For National Defence Academy/ Naval Academy - Intermediate (12th Class) is required

For Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam - 12th Class in 10+2 pattern

For Engineering Services - Engineering in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Electronics and Telecommunication required

For Combined Defence Services - Graduation is required

Those candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible for IAS exam.

Your age should be in between 21 years to 32 years for general candidates. Age relaxation is given below -

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

Number of Attempts:-

For open category:- 5 attempts
For ST/SC category:- 9 attempts
For ST/SC category:- Unlimited

Exam for IAS exam

Date of Notification: 23rd April 2016
Last Date to Apply: 20 May 2016
Date of IAS PRE (CSAT) Exam: 07 AUGUST 2016 (Sunday)

I have completed 10, DIPLOMA(EEE) AND ENGINEERING (EEE). CAN I APPLY UPSC EXAMINATION?
