hi, i m sharon sony, pursuing b.tech 2nd year cse, i would like to join in Indian navy. to join Indian navy what exams i must take, what is the criteria? what is the selection patern? is women can join in Indian navy?

Sorry, to say that there is no chance for women to join in the Indian Naval Academy.

To join in the Indian Naval Academy, one must need to appear for the National Defence Academy (NDA) or Combined Defence Services (CDA) exam.

To appear for any of these exams, you must be an Unmarried male candidate.

There are two exams conducted for the candidates those who are interested to join in Indian Naval Academy, and the women are not eligible to appear for these two exams.

As you are a female candidate,you cannot join in the Indian Naval Academy.

hi..I am in 11th std and I am interest in navy so, how to join Indian navy after 12th? and I am a girl in science.

Women can also join in Indian navy . The minimum qualification for women to join in navy is Graduation from a recognised university . So , as you are doing your b.tech now , you should complete your b.tech . After completion of your b.tech you can apply for the cds exam to join in indian navy.


Eligiblity criteria of cds exam :-

1. The candidate shouldhave completed graduation from a recognised university
2. The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-22 years , to join in navy
3. The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-23 years , to join in Airforce
4. The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-24 years , to join in Army
5. The candidate shouldbe a citizen of India
6. The canddiate shouldbe an unmarried candidate


*** Note that , while you are in B.tech final year , you can apply for the cds exam .

Sir my education qualification is diploma engineering,but it's not completed .. Currently I am working in private company. My age is 22 Unmarried. Is there any chance to join in navy in any stream...??
