WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE OF JOINING

i ve completed my graduation this year am.i eligible to join indiam navy i ve got 74%

Indian Navy can be joined after completion of Graduation through CDS entrance exam. There is no percentage of marks required in Graduation for application to CDS.

CDS - Combined Defence Service, the entrance erxam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer,s Training Academy.

The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Navy, must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 22 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

How To Get Into Indian Navy

After the completion of your graduation..the best option to get into the Indian Navy is through the Combined Defence Services(CDS) which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission)

The CDS Exam is conducted in the months of February and September..

Eligibility Criterion To Appear For CDS :-

>> Candidate must be within the age limit of 19-22 years for admission to the Indian Naval Wing..

>> Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized University in Science stream..

>> There is no percentage restriction for appearing for the CDS..

Examination Pattern :-

There will be 3 sections in the written exam and each of the sections shall be carrying 100 marks :-

>> General Awareness
>> English
>> Basic Maths
