what are the government jobs related to civil eng in india

I have heard that there is a great scope in civil engineering.

As a Civil Engineer you can apply for job in following government Companies :

• BHEL as and Junior Engineer and Supervisor trainee.
  
• NBCC as Project Executive, Junior Engineer
  
• SAMEER as a scientist and Project assistant
  
• NIT ( National Institute of Technology ) as an student activity officer, scientist officer, engineer.
  
• You can also apply in many PSUs like ONGC, Power Grid, Railtel, NMDC, RITES, UCI, NACL, NLC, SAIL, NTPC, IOCL for the post of trainee.
  
• Yu can also apply for Junior Engineer in Central Public Works Department. SSC is responsible for the recruitment of JE in Central Public Works Department.

As the eligibility criteria for Government Jobs is 60 Percent of Marks and Age limit is 27 for General Category and OBC,SC and ST candidates have relaxation

1)You can appear for UPSC Exam and IES in UPSC specially conducted for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Fields.No.of Vacancies for Civil Department in IES more than the both.
Marks required to get a Job also minimum when compared to Mechanical and Electrical Departments
You will get placed in Indian Goverment organisations like Indian Railway Store Service and various firms which requires Civil Engineers for Analyst,and Constructional Works

You can also appear for state Government Public Service Commissions to get the Local Government Jobs.
