My dad is an ex-serviceman in army with 28 years experience. I want to know that how can he get a job in Indian Railways on the basis of being an ex-serviceman. Please reply.

You can get a job in Indian Railways being an ex-serviceman. Your dad can probably apply for the below mentioned posts, if there is any vacancy;

> Traveling Ticket Examiner(TTE).

> Manager.

> Assistant Accountant.

> Assistant Manager.

> Technical Attendant.

> Technician.

> Office Assistant.

> Management Trainee.

Candidates are however, selected via written examinations, PI and medical examinations.

I am post graduate in English. Can I get any job in Indian Railways on the basis of this qualification in Ex-servicemen category, since I am ex Indian Navy.Kindly intimate the procedure to be followed.
