Re: How can I get job in Public Sector after completing B.Tech(Chemical Engineering)?
Chemical Engineering is a very good stream to get a very good job in future and more opportunities in both public and private sector industries because not only PSUs but some other MNCs related to chemical, pharmaceutical, medical etc. requires candidates having passed graduate degree in chemical engineering/ technology that is why you are eligible for various jobs so keep calm and prepare as guided below.
First of all you need to apply for GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering entrance examination conducted every single year by IIT Kanpur and other IITs too included in this examination and all type of public sector units like - BPCL, HPCL, ONGC, NTPC, GAIL, BHEL, CIL, SAIL, OIL, NHPC, PGCIL, Indian Oil, Air India, EIL, etc. requires candidates passed in this examination so know the importance of this examination and start study. To apply for this exam, you just need a degree in engineering or technology means BE or B.Tech from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks and relaxation of 05% marks is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST category. After applying for this examination, you need to collect complete syllabus, notes to study and make a perfect strategy to prepare for this examination because qualifying in this exam by securing minimum qualifying marks is compulsory then only you will be considered eligible for the job in any Maharatna, Navratna and other related companies so start preparation. You may also take help and guidance from a special coaching class means join classes for about 2-3 months before examination and I am sure you will be prepared well to qualify this exam and in coaching center, you will understand the importance and how much competition is there to pass this test so think about future competitors and start preparation from now. When you appear for examination, try to maintain accuracy because candidates could not qualify exam are not allowed to appear for this exam for about 3 times that is why be careful while examination and I am sure you will pass and when passes many companies recruits so apply for the post of Chemical Engineer, Assistant Engineer (Chemical), Executive Engineer Chemical discipline. You will be shortlisted by the company for interview process and some conduct group discussion round also to qualify and eliminate candidates at different stages so be prepared for everything else demanded by the company and try to qualify the interview because this would be the last stage and if you pass then you will get the job. Having good marks in GATE test is also compulsory because merit list is prepared based on performance given by the candidate in GATE test and Interview Process so try to work harder for every single stage and get the job. |
