Respected Sir/Madam, I am Mallikarjuna. V. I have completed B.Pharmacy and also a registered pharmacist. Also, I am interested to join in Army as a pharmacist. What is the procedure involved to get selected as a pharmacist in Army? Kindly inform me. Sir/Madam. Thank you.

If there is a requirement of pharmacist in Indian army, then they will release notification for it. You have to apply on a prescribed format, when there is a notification.

Selection will be based on the performance in written exam and physical fitness test. Also, you must be a registered pharmacist under PCI

One who wishes to join Indian Army as pharmacist has to write the CDS exam. The notifications are announced from time to time whenever there is vacancies for Pharmacists in Indian Army. The AFMC carries out an entrance test to select candidates in to various posts in the paramedical sections.

Eligibility criteria to apply for the post of pharmacist in Army are as under :-

-The candidate should hold Diploma in Pharmacy with Registration in PCI.

-The Age limit to appear this exam is in between 19 to 25.

-The candidate should be Physically fit as per the norms of the exam.

-The selection process involves of

*Written Examination ,

* Personal Interview by Service Selection Board ,and

*Medical Test .

I will be a pharm.D graduate in 2 years i wish to work as a pharmacist in army , how can i apply for those exam? And any eligibility/job is there for pharm.D graduates ?

Written Test :-
Written test for LDC & Pharmacist categories will be held at 21 FAD and the question papers (12th Std) of written test (objective type) will be bilingual i.e. English & Hindi as under :-

General Intelligence and reasoning - 25 Qus.(25 marks)
Numerical aptitude - 25 Qus.(25 marks)
General English - 50 Qus.(50 marks)
General Awareness - 50 Qus.(50 marks)
Duration : 2 Hours
Remarks : The written test will be as per SSC syllabus on Graduation std basis.

I need some information about girls to be a pharmacist after B pharmacy in military ....plz give me total information step by step after clear B Pharmacy .......like height ..weight or physical fitness also ....

Is there any possibilities girls can become pharmacist in Indian army??
