Sir, my name is Anupam Pandey and I want to join the "Indian army" in "gurkha battalions”. So, please tell me some types. My inspiration is my grand father(NANA). He is retired subedar Major.."Jay Hind Sir".

Indian Army conducts recruitment rallies from time to time to recruit candidates for such battalions. You can apply for it, when there is an notification. Selection will be based on the performance in written exam and physical fitness tests conducted by the Indian Army.

You can also join Indian Army as an officer through exams like NDA, CDS and other special entry schemes. Selection is based on the performance in the written exam and SSB interview.
